Jack McIlhargey

Jack McIlhargey is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who played in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, and Hartford Whalers.His playing career spanned eight years on defense, beginning when he turned pro with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1974. He became a Canuck on January 21, 1977 when he was traded to Vancouver. He appeared in 167 games for the Canucks (1977–80) He completed his playing career for the Hartford Whalers. Jack played in 393 career NHL games. Mr. McIlhargey was a key member of the Vancouver Canucks coaching staff and organization over the past 22 years. Mr. McIlhargey was voted one of the 30 All-Time Greatest Canucks and was recently inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame.

Mr. Parasiuk has over 35 years experience in the public and private sectors in Canada.
Mr. Parasiuk most recently served as President and CEO and Deputy Chairman of Interhealth Canada Limited, a private international healthcare management company which is headquartered in Toronto. Interhealth Canada Limited managed a 335 bed, 1,500 staff Western International Hospital in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Government.
Previous positions Mr. Parasiuk has held include: Chairman and CEO of the British Columbia Trade Development Corporation; President of Vancity Enterprises, a development subsidiary of Vancouver City Savings and Credit Union; Chairman of the Beijing-Toronto International Hospital co-operative joint venture in Beijing.
In the 1970s and 1980s Mr. Parasiuk was a development planner with the Government of Canada, a Deputy Minister to the Cabinet of the Government of Manitoba and a Minister (Health, Energy and Mines, Crown Investments and Federal –Provincial Development Agreement negotiations) in the Government of Manitoba.
Mr. Parasiuk is or has been a director of various private, non-profit and public entities including the Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee on Government Restructuring, the Senior Advisory Committee on Governance Innovations (for a group of Asian nations), the Public Policy Forum, Interhealth Canada Limited, and Quorum Group of Companies.
Mr. Parasiuk holds Master of Arts degrees from both the University of Manitoba and the University of Oxford, which he attended as a Rhodes Scholar.

Allan Bird is a retired Executive of the Public Safety Ministry of the Canadian government and a 35-year veteran of policing with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and protecting national security with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. He is an expert in policing, counter terrorism, counter espionage, counter intelligence. He has traveled extensively, assisting a number of foreign governments with security related problems. He possesses cutting edge knowledge in threat and risk assessment with additional expertise in policing, police training and close personal protection. During his career he has served as a personal bodyguard for Canada’s Prime Minister, Chief of Internal Security, Chief of Operational Security for Canada’s intelligence service and Officer in Charge of National Security.

A 30-year veteran and former senior officer with Scotland Yard Mr. Colbourne has an extensive background in Security and Risk management. He has advised governments in Europe, the Middle East and North America on matters relating to counter terrorism, state policing, training and recruitment. Mr. Colbourne was advisor to the Greek Government on counter terrorism in preparation for the Athens summer Olympic games in 2004 and was selected by the by Attorney Generals office of British Columbia to manage the security at Robson Square, the epicenter of public celebration for the 2010 Winter Olympics Games in Vancouver British Columbia.
